AITIL HOUSE GIN – Portland Craft Gin

The Aimsir Distilling Company’s small batch Portland craft gin takes its name from the Gaelic word for juniper, Aitil House Gin is a distinctive contemporary American craft gin designed for sipping and cocktails. We settled on our recipe after years of experimentation, tinkering, and testing in our Portland gin distillery.

Aitil is made in the American style, but instead of keeping the spotlight on the juniper, we’ve expanded our lens to bring in a full bouquet of other botanicals. The result is still recognizably gin, but lusher, rounder, and more beguiling. We spent years developing this craft Portland gin through countless small batches. We enjoy crafting unique and wonderful flavors and have found our favorite expression of this in our Aitil House Gin.

Raspberry and peach give Aitil House Gin a beautifully ripe and fruity aroma. The palate is soft and silky, layered with bright lemongrass, fresh berries, and aromatic rose. Cardamom and cinnamon linger in the dry, gently spicy finish. This Portland craft gin is like a romp through the garden on a dewy spring morning, if your garden also went great with a splash of vermouth and a lemon twist.

Aitil House Gin was released December 9, 2020. Within a year of release, Aitil House Gin won medals for Double Gold, Best of Class, Best of Category from American Distilling Institute, one of the most prestigious spirit competitions worldwide. Aitil House Gin has been in Forbes, Wine Enthusiast and has travelled as far as Antarctica.
